Unique location

Princess Beatrix opened Madurodam on 2 July 1952. Since day 1 it has been more than a theme park that shows the best in the Netherlands: it was established as a living memory of war hero George Maduro and as a fundraiser for charities. Madurodam is now also a unique location for events.

Inspiration

The Netherlands is at your feet in Madurodam. This offers a lot of inspiration for events. We are happy to think along with you to link your event to the park in a special way. For example, we can show a car with your company logo in the park or point you to things that you can refer to during your event.

Big groups

Every year Madurodam welcomes between 600.000 and 650.000 visitors. Because of this we know better than anyone what it is like to receive large groups of guests. We arrange everything down to the last detail and are happy to exceed your expectations.

Different halls

We have 7 multifunctional halls and are therefore a suitable location for business and festive events for up to 1,200 guests. All rooms are modernly furnished, with professional theater lighting and a Bose sound system. The halls are protected from the park. This means that you do not walk among the park visitors. Extra special: the rooms offer a view of the Netherlands! Want to relax during an event? Feel free to walk through the park. All guests have free access during an event.

Food & beverage

An event is only really successful if you have eaten and drunk well. Our chef and his team put everything in place for this. From a good buffet to a culinary course dinner: they make it! Of course we adjust everything to the budget and the size of the company. We naturally take dietary requirements into account, such as halal, vegetarian, kosher and gluten-free. Need help? Accessible

Madurodam is easily accessible by public transport from The Hague Central and The Hague Hollands Spoor stations. From both stations you can reach Madurodam by tram or bus within 10 minutes by bus or tram. Moreover, Madurodam has its own parking lot with 500 parking places.

Charity

Since 1952, Madurodam has been donating its proceeds, between 600,000 and 1 million euros annually, to charities for children. Madurodam has now paid out more than 32 million euros through the Madurodam Children's Fund.
